Help our librarian with this fun annual reading program.
Typically a 6th or 7th grade parent(s) responsible for organizing the 8th grade continuation ceremony.
8th Grade Picnic
Plan and coordinate the end of year picnic for the 8th graders.
Coordinate Manning’s participation in the national PTA Reflections arts program with support from Jeffco and Colorado PTA.
Lead the annual Manning PTA college scholarship program. Review all scholarship applications.
A fun annual event and fundraiser.
Student/Staff Appreciation
Hospitality – leads the coordination of teacher and staff appreciation events throughout the year. Appreciation Week – leads the week long staff appreciation celebration in May.
Website
The Website Liaison shall be responsible for maintaining and update the Manning PTA website. Manning PTA currently uses digitalpto to host our website, which is a user friendly WordPress format so html knowledge is not necessary. The Exec Board and Committees will communicate information to the website liaison so that the website is updated and relevant.
Well Wishes
Coordinate 8th Grade Well Wish dedications. Input photos and dedications in yearbook layout program. Proof all submissions and input in yearbook layout format. Verify orders and payments. Contact families who have not submitted photos/dedications or payment by the deadline. Work is completed Jan-Apr.
Yearbook
Help the Yearbook class at Manning manage the yearbook creation & sales. This includes coordinating with the vendor for ordering, printing, delivery, and billing. Help as needed.
